Carilion Now offers health care services at a flat payment rate, eliminating the need for insurance participation. For patients using Medicare Part B, Carilion Now also provides an option of coverage.

Insurance

If you have Original Medicare (Part B), a wide range of telehealth services are covered. You will only be responsible for a portion of the Medicare-approved amount and the Part B deductible applies. In most cases, the cost for telehealth services is comparable to receiving in-person services.

Additionally, Carilion employees using Carilion Now can take advantage of coverage under Carilion’s sponsored health plan. Please note that applicable copays and deductibles may apply.
